Thanks for the info...
I have a 95 PEP
It has the R1 rear wing (none in front), sunroof, no BOSE....
Peter Farrell said that it's kinda like a mix of touring and r packages... so i dunno how suspension compares to touring

suspension:

93 base and touring = same
93 R1 = stiffer shocks
94 and 95 base and PEG/PEP = same
94 and 95 R2 = stiffer shocks, larger rear bar than base and PEG/PEP (same as 93 R1)

actually, Mazda softened the suspension on the R2s since too many ***** R1 owners complained about the harsh ride.

Your right JoeD, I didn't specifically state that, but the R2 still had stiffer shocks than the 94 and 95 base and PEP/PEG packages.

BTW, I guess I would be in the ***** category. I think my stock suspension 95 PEP rides stiff enough.

Not gonna happen. Maybe in a far future, I will upgrade to aftermarket coilovers, but shorter term I see some nice 17x9 SSR Integrals running 245/40 Bridgestone S-03s. Hopefully those won't be much stiffer riding than stock.
