Fd newb question

hey guys, this is my first post on rx7 club, i will hopefully be getting an fd this summer, and i have a question. I was wondering if their are any good rotary shops near northern new jersey or in new york.

My second question is i was wondering how much hp i would make with these mods, im trying to get to at least 340rwhp-need to find a good tuner thats why i asked about the shop

TKT Base Performance Package-$1199
Apexi Autotimer-$89
Greddy Turbo Timer (with harness)-$120
Boost Gauge-$60
Apexi Boost Controllers AVC-R-$399 (from Horsepower Freaks)
HKS Downpipe-$199
Random Technology High Flow Cat-$215
Total-$4191

you guys think i could make 340-350rwhp with those mods ? if not can u please throw in what i missed, i kno i dont have a stand alone because i need to find a good tuner place near northern new jersey, and new york city

srry this post is so long but please help a nub out thanks guys

no, you need to do alot more! Do a search
this is basickly what you need
DP
MP
Pfc
FMIC
intake
and if you can get a ported motor
with that you may be able to make that kind of RWHP at 12psi

Since you will "hopefully" be getting your FD next summer, that gives you at least 5 months to start researching. That way you can find out for yourself what you are getting into. I think it's funny when people come on here with a strange rwhp goal -- 340?

rx7wee: If you think you can get 340 rwhp with 12 psi and those mods, you must have seen too many Don't Be a Rikki dyno sheets.....

BS. You'll be lucky to get 310-320 without tuning it to the ragged edge. More likely, you'll get 300 rwhp with a safe tune.

Most guys on here are taking all the bolt-ons (midpipe), upgraded fuel, streetport, and 15 psi to achieve 350 rwhp.

The mods listed only total 2,281.00 dollars. The total listed is 4,191.00 dollars. What are you going to buy with the other 1,910.00 dollars?

RTS3GEN put down 357.2 rwhp 15psi using the Pettit Unlimited ECU (which means stock injectors but upgraded fuel pump which isn't that big of a deal), all bolt-ons with a ported engine.

rynberg, fd3virgin was throwing down 335rwhp with a decently tuned PFC. I bought a majority of his stuff when he went single

Well, IMO, you should be using bigger injectors when running 15 psi, but....

Other than that, he has everything I listed. Besides, we're not talking about rare cases here. Typically, people are lucky to get 350 rwhp with the mods I listed.

With just the mods you listed? It's not possible unless tuned to the very ragged edge. You'd be surprised how easy it is to manipulate numbers on the dyno to be higher....

No problem. I'm just making sure people don't associate low duty cycles with "being in the clear" as far as A/F ratios (since they are independent of one another).

why dont you start out with a stock 3rd gen. you may find out that the car alone is a little more then you can handle. Obviously you havent been driving long and have no clue how fast these cars are stock, let alone 125 rwhp over stock.

TKT...is that Tomas Knight? As in the same Thomas Knight who has been spending the last few years developing an electric supercharger? I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from that guy

I hope you are not serious. TKT stands for Turn Key Terror (Petit).
