Question FD megasquirt?

I am going single turbo w a 93 fd. I was told megasquirt would work better than the pfc bc its a stand alone and not a piggy back? Only issue is i cant find anyone who has done it already to know if it was successful???

any info is appreciated.

Question

Spend some time in the PFC forum reading.

The PFC is a stand alone system...it is NOT a piggyback system.

A standalone means it will replace the stock ECU. A piggyback means it will run alongside the stock ECU. The PFC is a standalone, meaning it doesn't need the stock ECU. That's what the word standalone means.

Also don't listen to whoever gave you in the information about the megasquirt and the PFC, you'll pop an engine taking their advice.

The PowerFC is one of the best ECU's for an FD. I don't know what your friend was smoking.
