FD Insurance question

Just wondering. I am looking in to purchasing a FD of my own. I have been pouring through threads like a mad man learning everything i can. Just wondering. How much are you guys paying for full coverage insurance on average. I kno it varies a lot but i was just curious.

I pay $900/year, $50 deductible, full coverage, plus 3 car discount. I have no tickets, ever, but my wife has 2 accidents over the past year and we get $200 discount on our homeowners insurance. We go through Nationwide.

geez. i pay 365 a month for 3 cars fully covered. i'm 23 but i also get the discount for being married and home owners policy and life insurance (800k). 365 covers everything so i think thats a pretty fair deal. plus i drop the FD in the winter completly. so its like 245 then.

$59 a month, full coverage with roadside assisstance, $100 deduc. on comp and collision, with a multi-car discount through state farm. Married and a clean driving record....should get cheaper next year when I hit the big "25" and I get another insurance discount.

i pay 140 but also 22. it really depends on the company and how many discounts you can get ie. good driver/student, loyalty etc and the deductible.

What for? DUI or wreckless driving, or for something else?

A friend of mine back in college got a DUI coming home from watching a basketball game. He also had to file an SR22 afterwards. His insurance went from being under 80 bucks a month for full coverage on his Blazer, to over 250 just for state minimum liability. Raped him bad on insurance for a couple years.

Granted, every insurance company varies, but I believe the norm. is double to triple your previous rates from what I've seen.

You need to call and find out what it will cost. Our numbers will be of little use to you. Call other companies and see what it will cost if you move all of your policies to them, too, since insuring FDs can vary dramatically.
