Doing a little more research on my 1993 rx-7 (manual), I discovered that the previous owner installed some things he forgot to mention when we were buying it. Well he might have mentioned them but I didn't think much of them at the time....
He replaced the engine at 84k miles with a reman (this i knew)
He installed an m2 Cold Air Intake, a downpipe, psf 3'' t203 stainless steel exhaust system
what exactly are these doing for my car right now? the car is boosting the proper psi (showing 10-8-10 on the gauge installed) and the engine currently has about 2k miles on it (changed oil at 500 miles, changing again this weekend) so given that everything stock is working out fine are these increasing the performance/reliability at all
given the current installations what steps should I take next in improving the general reliability? not going for HP quite yet...
ive read a ton of guides on how to start but I'm not sure as to the order given what's already installed

as far as HP goes, you're probably pulling about the same, possibly more than mine.
I pulled 247HP/233TQ this summer with 100K on the original engine, M2 Cold Air intake, downpipe and Racing Beat Dual cat back... everything else was stock... plus I have a small transition issue, don't think it affected my peak numbers though

as far as reliability goes, best thing to do is read through all the sticky threads and do a couple good searches, plenty of links to good info on here. Everyone has different opinions about what to do and in what order.
I'd probably do the vacuum hoses, radiator, Aluminum AST, wrap that downpipe with header wrap if not done already, check out your main cat to see if it's clogged, check the plugs to see if they need replacing, check the y-pipe and other intercooler piping connectors, coolant hoses... the list goes on... and on...

that is a very nice setup.
the m2 box is really good. arguably one of the best cold air intakes. search on that if you want more info. the dp and exhaust are also very good quality.
for reliability consider a radiator. otherwise go through the archive section above and soak it all in.

The first thing to do is to perform a full 60k service (unless you have maintenance records showing it was performed). This will replace all your fluids and filters and give you clean start.
As far as reliability goes, you are fine. Get an aluminum AST to replace the plastic one and call it good. There's no need to change the radiator unless the plastic endtanks on the stock one are failing (which at that mileage, probably are). Also, doing a vacuum hose job is pretty silly, if you are getting a perfect boost pattern. Also, any decent mechanic would have replaced all the vacuum lines when installing the new engine anyhow.

Oh, almost forgot. It sounds like you already have a boost gauge, so get a water temp gauge if you don't have one. The stock gauge is very non-linear.

nillviod, your car sounds like it's ready for a midpipe, big IC, Power FC, fuel pump, and 1300-cc secondaries. If you think 250 rwhp (DynoJet dyno) is fun, wait till you get 350 DynoJet HP (that's 305 Mustang Dyno HP).
