FD headlight fitment

hi there,

I was wondering if a headlight from a FC fits in a FD.
they look the same in my eyes so i was wondering.
in my country (the Netherlands) there are no FD lights available, only FC lights.

if it doesn't fit, can someone provide me stock/aftermarket (with EU approval) FD lights?

greetings René

FC lights do not fit an FD

If there are any Mazda dealers in your country, call them and get the parts number.

he means headlights with an E-mark (glass) for Europe, the stuff on Ebay won't have that. Best that happens you find a D.O.T. approved one...

shot me a PM as I am currently also looking for some so either one of us who finds them first can help out the other one, eh?

you understand me thats why i asked if a FC lights fits.. because i can buy them.

are you looking for EU lights (american/netherlands) as well or EU lights (japan/england)?

edit: you are from germany, so american/netherlands/germany style lights
i noticed they are hard to find.

www.corksport.com has some glass headlights by E-Spec(I think that is the name of the company, just check the website). They are for a LHD vehicle though, but I'm sure they prob. make a RHD version. Might want to give them a call.

i am very sorry i didnt pick up on that if that was already posted. if you like the flip-up look, why not just switch out the bulbs for hid's or something. otherwise you will prob end up having to fabricate some youself. headlight covers that is, not bulbs

if it was that simple i would already have done that.
the problem is that the UK/japan spec (that i have now) has an different reflection then the dutch/american spec. the reflection is different because we drive on the other side of the road. so if i keep this lights i will dazzle the people that come a cross me.

The headlights from a LHD fits strait onto a RHD. When I registered my Jap FD I just borrowed some LHD lights for the day, and gave them back afterwards..

And the Jap lights are so bad that I can drive with the "long" lights on at day/night and nobody ever flashes me so I just decided to keep them until I eventually buy sleek headlights..

Wow, way to be a dick and also fail to answer the question.

But, I digress. There aren't really any headlight replacements here in the US that meet the DOT code, so I'd really doubt there would be any E-Code aftermarket lights. With that said, I think the stock replacements are your only option. Let me know if you need help finding them.
