hey i am looking for some performance headers and i cannot find any also i am wondering if i should if i should get perforance fans instead of rebuying stock one aslo could u give me place to find these items please thanks andrew

 

no headers are offered for the stock twins. . . just find some used stock fans. . . radiator fans i assume. they work fine.

Just to elaborate more on what rotor-brain said. The only FDs that will need headers are the ones with custom V8 conversions. Otherwise if you have the stock motor, you do not have header(s) instead you have what is called a downpipe or DP for short. The Downpipe is a single pipe that connects to your turbo assembly and goes to the main cat.

EDIT: Here is an example of a "performance" DP that replaces the pre-cat. The DP is 3" all the way and this particular one was made by M2 (Mostly Mazda) and is constructed of SS.

That's what I thought he meant... Often confused.

I don't know of any custom twin turbo, tubular manifolds for the FD. Other than border, but that is the whole kit. Turbos and all... Wait... there's Knightsports too right?

If you are doing a single turbo project, then there are several turbo manifolds to chose from like HKS and XS engineering. If you are building your car back up with stock twins, then I think you are stuck with having to use a stock turbo manifold. If you are doing a single project, then you should visit the single turbo section.

 

The 1999+ fans flow more and are lighter than the stock fans. The money is probably better spent in other places though
