I managed to get some samples of the fan switch connector sent to me. If anyone is interested, I'll send them to you for whatever shipping would cost once I get them in.

JBF - if you are referring to the 1-pin connector, I am definitely interested. What is the vendor and PN?

Awesome work!

I just ordered two connectors from Tri-point here:

I'll post my experience when the package arrives.

This is not only worthy of a sticky, it needs to be preserved forever! This is exactly what I was working on for the FC, aptly named The Connector Project. As this is already in progress and doing exceptionally well, I'll leave the FD up to you guys and focus on the FC. Once these are completed, they'll be stickied with a link in each generation's FAQ and the Standalone Section.

I'd like to make a special request: Could someone here please identify the FD's gauge cluster connectors? While the FC's clusters are on a subharness and aren't too difficult to work around for custom projects, the FD is not so fortunate. I've done some research and found that the Z31/Z32 300ZX, R32 Skyline GT-R and S13 180SX/240SX/Silvia all share the same style of 12-pin connector, but cannot seem to pin down a manufacturer at the moment.

Good work.

There would appear to be something wrong with the ECU list - unless I'm missing something - 12 and 22 pin ones, along with the 16 and 26 go into the ECU, can't find a 10 or 14. Something else must be referred to there.

thank you! I was on Eastern Beavers website trying to source "2P090WP-DL-F-S" (crank/cam) and they wanted $658 for shipping for $13.00 worth of connectors

-- wait i goofed, there is a minimum $20 order limit, that's why shipping was messed up.

My god, this thread has been a life saver and sorry to have dredged it up from a year ago. For the love of god can someone help me with this:

I need the mating female connector for 176114-5 or -6. This is the mate to the X-05 (blue/grey) connector coming from the engine harness. The previous owner cut off the female plug on my body harness and it would be nice to have an oem one back.

Thanks so much for anyone who sees this!

I think what you need is part number 174932 (it looks like the mate for 176114)
Mouser has 174932-1 and 174932-2 in stock (-1 is white, -2 is black)
571-174932 Automotive Connectors | Mouser
(mouser likes to add "571-" to the front of the part numbers)

Then you'll need either "tabs" or "receptacles" for the pins (not sure of the gender for that connector)
571-173630
571-173631
571-173633
571-173645

looks they're all cheap, in stock, and have small minimum orders

Sweet jesus, what a lifesaver!

For the original one I was looking at on TE it said it's mate was a 24 pin connector.

Just placed my order today, I bought the male and female pins just for grins, and duplicates of the connectors. I'll save this information for the future!

Thanks again!

I have a series 7 JDM (1996 Model)
I want to build a adaptor (extension ) harness for the Engine Control unit so i don't have to butcher the harness for the power FC and RSM fitment .
Any chance that someone knows the part numbers for the Series 7 ECU connectors ?

The only blanks are the main solenoid connectors (which can be replaced by .250 spade terminals) and the IAC.

I haven't yet added the part #'s for terminals and wire seals, but will soon.

Let me know if anyone finds any errors, or has suggestions.
Also, I just picked a random free file uploader; if anyone can recommend a better one, or can host the file directly, let me know.
The file server doesn't seem to have the file anymore. Does anyone have a copy they could host or send me?

Cooling Fan Connectors

I have been trying to find the female side(on the harness) fan connectors but have had zero luck. If anyone would happen to know the part number and would like to share, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Ryan

Two of the ECU plugs listed are not correct. I was able to track down and order the correct part numbers. I've recieved them and verified that they fit. Here is the correct ECU plugs.

ECU

NOTE:
the number after the dash just represents the color, so as long as the first 6 digits before the dash match it will be the same plug

(1) 22pin (2 rows of 11 pins)
TE/AMP PN 174515-6 Hybrid I/O Conn Plug HSG 22P (brown)

(2) 12pin (2 rows of 6 pins)
TE/AMP PN 174913-7 Hybrid I/O Conn Plug HSG 12P (yellow)

(3) 16 pin (2 rows of 8 pins)
TE/AMP PN 174514-6 Hybrid I/O Connector HSG 16P (brown)

(4) 26 pin (2 rows of 13pins)
TE/AMP PN 174516-7 Hybrid I/O Conn Plug HSG 26P (yellow)
