fd exhaust manifold gasket, are they interchangable with earlier 13B gaskets ?

Hi Guys,
I just purchased a 1992 Fd type X.

It has a really bad exhaust leak at the exhaust manifold between the manifold and engine.

My question is to those who have done it, can I use the earlier 13B exhaust gaskets from say a FC or even the RX4-5 type ?

As you guys probably know the FD ones are really expensive, somewhere about $120 u.s each where the earlier ones are maybe $20 - 30.

Basically, is the bolt spacing the same etc ?

Thanks,
Much Appreciated.

I use the FC gasket and cut it into two pieces that do not touch. Works fine with my single turbo.

You have to have a turbo gasket, the non-turbo gaskets will blow out.

I'd get a good used set, I have a pile in my garage. They normally last forever. I'd actually be surprised if that's the source of your exhaust leak, but you'll need to pull the turbos to find the source. Probably a turbo to manifold gasket.
