FD Exhaust

Hey Fellas,

Looking for a new exhaust for the FD. Always wanted a Racing Beat Dual, and never got one.

I've been out of the loop for a while (not on here much anymore)

I was wondering if you guys new of any NEW systems that would be of interest. I like the stock, clean look.

Is there any "must haves" out there that you guys would suggest?

Thanks a million!

Budget? If you got the money to spend, we offer some nice titanium exhausts on our website.

I always thought the "stock looking" exhausts for the FD were VERY limited.

Between racing beat, m2? and PFS, i didnt know there are other exhausts that look stock.

I have the PFS and it looks stock but its a bit loud for me. I like loud but there are times where i wished the car was a bit quieter.

Racing beat FTW!! I have the single (orignally wanted the dual) but it worked out. Its nice and quiet and moves air pretty well. You can find them for dirt cheap. You can pick up a super exhaust from purerx7 when you have a better idea of what you want. The Amemya seems to be a hot item though. You can listen to the exhauts on his website.

Also, some of the weights are off for the SS version of some of the exhausts!

Pipe is made by Jasma Japan. It's a 3" to 2x 2.5" pipes. Mufflers are longer and bigger than the Apexi N1 Duals which equals to quieter performance while still retaining the good looks of a dual system. Get yourself this hard to find and super rare exhaust that is discontinued. PM me if interested. I can get more pics for you guys tonight. Thanks.

^From and old FS thread.
I have no personal experience with it, but it is dual tip. You could PM Mahjik as I think he mentioned he had one and liked it.

Edit: Sorry, I just remembered he said it was discontinued. Maybe you could search for used?

^^ that's the St. May Shot Gun exaust. one of the best sounding exaust out there IMO from owning one myself :P the long canister makes the exaust very quiet, yet the straight through design allows it to sound like other straight through exausts at WOT.
too bad St May went out of business so the only way to find a new one is off ebay from some vendor that bought the liquidation prior to their closing

your best bet for stock looking exaust would be Racing Beat. its clean, quiet, harrasement free from cops

pic of my st. may. i only put this on for track and show. for street i use racing beat dual tip due to lame S. Cali cops.

The Racing Beat has to be the no.1 pick. Not to dis the others but the sound and looks of the RB is so perfect for the street. I have a Mazda RX7 brochure from 1995 and I swear there's a pic of a black FD with the old style RB dual tip on there. jm2cents

i went from a universal catback for about 2 3 years that the original owner put on and finally bit the bullet and bought a new rb duel and i gotta say, i believe it is 1 of the hottest looking and best sounding exhaust. you wont be disappointed

Have a RB dual tip on my car & really like it. Flows well & is quiet until the RPMs come up & my foot is to the floor. Then the thing really shines!

Given those requirements RB duals are still top dog, as you already know from the postings in this thread.
