FD Engine Removal
Today I started the Removal of a motor to bring back to the states with me. Here is the car that I am removing the motor from. I took some pictures to mark the progress. I am hoping to bring this motor back and put it in an FB. Wish me luck on that project. If you see anything you would like in the photos let me know maybe we can work out a deal. After I am done removing the motor the guy said he is sending it to the boneyard. Well with all of that said here are the photos.

Wow thats such a shame to send that to the boneyard id love to buy the bodykit of that but i can imagine the cost and shipping from japan to the uk would be terrible but hey if its doable send me a pm with costs and ill let you know (depends on my finances)
also can see its not been turned over in sometime by the corrosion on the pulleys

I would not mind giving parts for free. I guess I was not clear. I am buying the motor but the rest of the car is being parted out. I am just being like the middle man. Letting some of you in the states know there is opportunity. If you want something off the car let me know what and a price. I will ask if he will let me have it for that price and its yours. Peace. Hope I can get you guys some parts.

I don't know if youre going to use a third party ECU on your project or the FD ECU,
its probably a good idea to keep both engine harnesses and the ECU.
The first harness connects to the battery and the second on the other side connects various solenoids to the ECU and passes thru the firewall.
The ECU is either on the right side of the driver's side footwell or on the left side of the passenger footwell under a small plastic cover. (not sure which side on JDM)
If you can't salvage or ship the front bumper, at least get the running lights. They are pretty collectible + small. (not the big round ones). Rear seats + belts are worth ~ $500 in the US in good cond. All Efini badges + wheel centers and outer door handles are small + sought after. The gauge cluster + hood are useable (in Kilometers) but the center AC panel, console and inner door panels are mirror opposites to US cars and good for RHD conversions only. The switches in the AC panel are sought after so it's worth keeping that whole panel if you can. Mirror switches and speaker covers on both doors are universal + sought after. If the rear tail lights have distinct round lenses instead of rectangular ones, they are very collectible. I'll buy anything but the rear seats if you're interested.
Best of luck with your project.

Okay. Many members have expressed interest in parts from the about to be bonyarded RX-7. So here is the deal. I will go get as many parts as I can afford this weekend and post what I got in the forum. If you see something you are interested in make me an offer for what you are willing to pay. When I check my messages I will message you back to let you know if you offered a reasonable price and if you are the only person trying to get that part. Like I have messaged some members already I am not trying to make money here just get some parts back into use. (But I also do not want to loose money) I hate to see a REX retired and parts wasted. Hope this can go smoothly. Look for another post soon.
Sorry the license plate can not be sold (as it stands now) I think it has to be returned back to the City.

Updated Info
Here are the most recent parts that I have removed. If you see something you would like send me a message and let me know. If you see something you have messaged me about pm for some info. Some of the parts are spoken for but if your interested still pm me in case the original people interested fall through. If you dont see something you are looking for then message me and I will get it. Also I do have all the seatbelts but was only able to get the rear passenger side today. I will be getting the rest soon.
The guages will be sold individually not with the dash or the side piece. Note the spedometer is in kmph and its a mazdaspeed. Also it replaces the original that is limited at 180kmph this one goes to 300.
I bought the window switch for 75.00 so I can not sell it for less than 80.00 shipped so if your interested than great. It still beats the 114.00 one from the dealership. (its practically brand new. only has a months use on it.)
To the left of speakers is steering column cover. With metal ignition cover.
Have passenger side door trim on floor.
If you want the original mazda floor mats for front or rear let me know.

Here are some more photos of other items I have. If you are interested in the guages pm me and let me know how much you are willing to offer. If you are interested in the middle section of the dash let me know if you want the electronics with it or not. I did not plan on selling them together unless the person wants them.
