FD Cutting out at 2000 RPM - UPDATE Question.
Ok, many have helped with my dilemma.
the car (automatic) cuts out at 2000 RPM
when driving slowly ONLY WHEN THE AIR or HEAT is on.
some recommended a BIG Ground to the battery, and an additional one to the UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD.
i am having Mazda look at the car wednesday and do this.
IF THIS DOES NO WORK, WHAT should i try??
thanks!

Try grounding it first. I had the same problem up until 2 days ago with my MT FD.... bad hesitation under 3000rpm and overall jerky throttle response. It was also much worse under electrical loads, like heat and headlights, much as you describe. Grounding made everything better, the throttle is now silky smooth, my headlights are brighter, and the stock Bose system is a LOT better than it was. Go for it.
