You know Andy we could probably get another car in there if we were to lift one up on the lift and then drive another under it...

Making sure the car on top is not leaking fluids of course.

Why is it with FD that makes it hard to run? I mean....mine starts up every time i want to drive it, surely there are some worn bits and pieces need to be replaced (bushings, etc) but the car actually runs....as in able to take me to & from work or any social purpose

It's been like that eversince I bought the car. Well, I did fix some leaks, hoses soon after I got the car and also does regular maintenance every six months. But so far it's been running fine... pretty much just like a normal car but with extra care & attention.

Well my point is, I don't get it..is it maybe because I'm lucky that I got a good running FD that I don't seem to have/encounter these sorts of problems? And oh, BTW, I'm talking about standard form with reliability mods. (stock boost,DP,intake,AST,etc).

But apart from that...it's a friggin nice garage with good lookin FDs!!

It is indeed. I've not ridden with him, but everyone says similar things. He must be good!

We were trying to fix that very issue...

There's really several issues...

#1, people want more than stock boost/power/etc,etc.
#2, people track their cars.
#3, these cars are 10+ years old now.

Add those up and you get lots of cars that don't work all the time. It's ok though, because when they work, they are exceptional.

There's lots of places that make lifts. This garage was specifically designed/built by the previous owner to fit the lift. I didn't buy it myself, it came with the house.

If you just go to google and search for 'auto lift' you'll see all the different types/options/sizes etc.
