FD carpet

I think we should contact a carpet company and see if they will make carpet kits for our cars. I'm sure 50
+ people would buy it if it was a good price. What do you guys think? Any ideas?

I've heard from others that have had custom molded carpet fitted to their cars, that nothing will ever line up like the stock replacement from the dealer will. More expensive, but worth it for a really good fit IMO.

I need to know how many people would like new carpet. I have contacted a carpet company that would be willing to make the carpet, but they need at least 100 orders. What do you think? We haven't talked price either.

I think it will be damn near impossible to get 100 people in on any group buy.

I would be interested

I would be interested, if the price is reasonable, I think Mazda gets an obscene amount of money for theirs.

My advise is to buy if you guys are willing to pay that much money. Might as well buy the JDM Carpets. They are nicer that the US models. They come with an RX7 Embossed Emblem,

JT Imports sells them along with a lot of other JDM parts

Or you might get lucky like me, Some shop was selling a 4 piece JDM carpet of a 2000 RX7, I won the item for $30 Shipped on Ebay and turned around and sold the rear carpet for $42.

Does that even fit? Wouldn't everything be backwards? There'd be a hole for the pedal box on the wrong side, and a hole for the trunk and gas cap releaset thing on the wrong side, wouldn't there?

Believe it or not it fits right in. The only thing that is kind of off is the whole that holds the Carpet in place. In the JDM is in the other side. other than that they are both the same carpet. Except that Embossed Alluminum emblem that says RX-7 adds a nice touch to the carpet. I need to get the alluminum door sills, they will match right with it.
Ill take pictures if you guys want.

By the way there is this company who actually makes custom fit carpets for our vehicles. They are made to fit the RX-7s and you can custom pick colors
