FD Carcass, what to do with it?

Well I took every part off my 93 Black R1 (55K miles) that I rolled last April. The roof is cut off, the drivers side door is mangled and every body panel has at least one dent. No glass left anywhere. It looks like it's ready to make into a race car now! So anyway, what should I do with it now?

Holy stripped car Batman!

I would suggest to call a car crusher, a junk yard would have no use for that.

You could always try calling and sending pics to some rx7 shops and seeing if someone wants to make it into a race car.

It gave its life so that another may live. I was going to make it into an E-Mod SCCA Solo2 racer but I blew the engine in my other R1 so am selling the parts to pay for the nre engine.

I see that you haven't removed the passenger door lock striker, hood rubber thingie and the weather strip.

I think these pieces should be salvaged.

Well I hydroplaned, spun and rolled at ~70mph and spent a few days in the hospital but after I cut the roof off I drove it around the block a few times, seemed fine to me but I'm no alignment shop...

You want the door striker? For sale! Best Offer

Uhm. Why am I the only one that seems to have noticed that there's a DISMANTLED CAR in your driveway? For living in San Diego, that's pretty white trash

I'll let you know how much all the stuff brings in when I sell it all, I imagine it will take quite a while to actually sell everything. Some items everybody wants like the interior and strut bar etc.

Re: FD Carcass, what to do with it?

Where's the graphic pic warning!!! Oh! my eyes,,burning!!!

Dig a hole in the in the back yard, and put it in. Say a few words, then plant a flower garden over it.

Hey, I need that hood rod hold down clip, mines broken! Mail it?

After I got out of the hospital and was considering what car to get next, I decided no matter what car it was I was going to put a rollbar in first thing. I ended up getting another 93 Black R1 and now have Corbeau seat, Sabelt 5pt harness and Autopower chromoly race rollbar.

If your serious about getting rid of teh rest of it, gat a sawzall and a good blade, cut it into pieces and every week fill a trash can. Or if you live near a dump, cut into bigger pieces and take them to the dump every now and then at your leisure in teh trunk of your wife's car.

I actually got this idea from a friend who got rid of a project/parts car a while back this way. He would take a load to the dumpster at work every week.

Talk about sick!
Ill bet those bose would make good soup. maybe you can come up with a good soup recipe needing fd bones!

take out an insurance policy on it and then tow it somewhere and report it stolen.
