FD BOVs

On stock turbos which BOV do you recommend out of these 4:

Blitz DD BOV
HKS Super Sequential BOV
Greddy Type-S
Apexi standard BOV

All will do fine with the stock twins. You'll run out of boost with the turbos before you'll need a better BOV.

i'd get the turbo XS H-RFL BOV> IT's the loudest one on the market and holds good boost as well. fyi, the RFL stands for "really f-cking loud"

I just vented mine the other day, sounds pretty nice. But i still would prefer to get an aftermarket one. Does anyone know what blow off valve Dragon with the yellow Rx-7 has? I have the video of him reving his engine and it sounds mean.

I have the Turbo XS H-RFL... its very loud and nice... if you want a high pitch loud sound.. go with the HKS SSQ.. I also like that alot too..

GlassMan is right =)

People are *always* asking me what loud BOV I have and the answer is always the same " Stock, vented/uncorked"

i hope u guys know why blow off valves sound loud? right? the louder the more restriction , very simple now u judge from there, and why do u think the real racing blow off valves sound like a quick deep "HOOOSHHH" cause they flow a lot and they have very little restriction.

Well my stock BOV does have that phoooshhhh sound, and yet it is fairly loud. It seems many people think the stock BOV is a high quality unit. Unfortunately our fuel pulsation dampeners still have the same shitty design as the FC's, and still have the same achille's heel. That blasted screw!!!

I'm not sure if your is stuck or something but when I let off and my bov blows off, my boost drops very quickly. I never had a problem with that before.

To whom are you directing this statement? And of course your boost will drop when the BOV opens.. that's its job...
