FL FD boost cut sensor??

i was pushing the car in 4th gear and at about 5 or 6k revs some kind of power comes in
its drops power out for 2 short bursts and then its back to normal and then after a minute or so it'll do it again

is there a boost cut sensor?
how do i fix this? what could it be?

However, I'm not sure if that's what you are experiencing since you haven't provided enough information. What boost are you seeing when it happens? What modifications are done to the car?

the car is pretty much stock besides a cat-back exhaust and a mid pipe, and disconnected air pump system (the pump and lines are still in there but they are just disconnected, the pump is still driven by the belt)

If you open up the exhaust (i.e. remove the catalytic converter), the boost will rise. Most of the time, uncontrollably. You are probably hitting fuel cut. Purchase a boost gauge and see what's going on.

i have a boost gauge on the way, what do i look for once i have it?
whats the best way to fix this issue and is this dangerous to the car or motor at all?

Fuel cut is saving your engine. If you want to run higher boost, you need to get an ECU upgrade to handle it properly. Take a look at these links which have some discussion on the topic:
