Question FD Acceleration Shutdown above 3000

I have a 93 R1 that has a problem with the turbo, I been driving it for the last year turbo free. The engine starts and runs fine as long as there is no load. If you try to accelerate above 3000 RPM, the engine cuts out and it's like you slammed on the brakes. Feels like a fuel problem but everything checks out and there is a new fuel filter.

PS Fixing the turbo this week so it will be more critical now.

1. MAP sensor
2. problem with fuel pump relay (not going into higher voltage mode)
3. problem with secondary injectors not coming online

Check for codes even if you aren't getting a CEL.

have you tried pulling the ECU code sounds like limp mode to me ( u may notice that you can accelerate with mild throttle but if you put your foot right down the car brakes)

That's exactly what happens. I can feather it up to 5000 RPM but any load causes the breaking action. What does one do about "limp" mode?

I would say the 2ndaries are not firing. 3000 rpm is where they stage.

I would check the TPS, it may be out of adjustment or not connected, w/o a proper signal from the TPS the fuel injectors will not come on.
