FD for 8K....Worth it?

I posted a few weeks ago about an FD. I found out the real condition of the car.

93 Montego Blue w/ spoiler
130,000 miles (90K put on in three years as highway miles)
new turbos included but not installed
no dents
typical paint condition
interior is good
everything works
no mods

The car drives fine but doesnt have the pull that one with healthy turbos would have.

$8,000

Is this a good deal?

Thanks for the input.....

It needs a LOT of work, just like mine. But $8k is definitely a good deal.

I have a 94 that I've had for a couple of years. I've done the catback and down pipe and will continue to make some upgrades.

This 93 will be more of a daily driver. I'm prepaired to do some work on it to make it reliable.

What problems other than turbos and motor might I encounter on a car with these miles.

another TN resident. Excellent, sounds like a good deal if everything checks out of course. A car with that many miles on it is bound to have worn out bushings in the rear, prob. alot of suspension components worn out. Any "clunking" noise coming from the rearend?

That's for sure. Especially because it's a 93.

The car definitly doesn't feel as tight as tight as my 94. The idea for this being a daily driver is kind of shot if I have to rebuild all the suspention components. I was originaly told by a freind of the seller that it was a 94 that had "new turbos" and 85K miles. If were true it would be a great deal. At 135K with turbos yet to be installed, I'm not so sure its a good deal.

Anybody else interested?

Yeah, I know someone who might be interested in it. It does have a manual transmission though, right? What about a clear title? Where is the car located at? Thanks for the help......I'm looking for another car for my mechanic/friend......his last car had 401rwhp on stock turbo's(has the dyno sheet for all you non believers). Let me know. Thanks in advance.

memphis,
The car is in Clarksville. The owner works at Sisk Auto Mall in Hopkinsville, KY. I talked to him this morning and told him I didn't want to buy the car. Ill e-mail you his name and # if you want.
