It's the veilside fortune kit.

And it's a damn shame.

I like the kit because it makes the Rx7 look way more exotic. Plus know one knows what it actually is.

Care to elaborate? If it wasn't on an Rx7, what would you think?

I don't like body kits, but if I had a track only FD and $20k left on budget I "needed" to spend...I get this kit and a wicked paint job. well, maybe parts of the kit

The way the pictures are taken, looks like they're spy shots of Fast and the Furious 3.

I don't have a problem with the front as much as I do the back. Also, putting the strip through the hatch glass would greatly hinder the drivers view don't you think? Not that I would ever pay that kind of money for a bodykit anyway...

Looks like an FD and a Lotus Elise mated. Usually don't care for kits, but the integrated rear spoiler might be OK. Hard to tell much from those angles though.

The 7 is already exotic, why turn it into something else? For the money invested in that, I'd rather buy a Porsche or the new Lotus.
To each his own.

I actually like the kit too, only in another (single) color. I think it also has an exotic appeal, and if it wasn't using the RX-7 as a base, would actually be a pretty sharp looking car minus the spoiler.

About time something decent was done about the headlights, other than using the same old stock housing position.

With the exception of the taillights...i like what they did with the kit. They could have made it a lot worse, but it's not that bad

I don't know how long you've had your FD but I've had mine since 98. Back in those days nobody knew what it was. And I mean nobody just a few true car guys. Now thanks to FnF it seems that just about everyone knows what it is.

I sort of agree. Front looks cool, back looks like something is missing.

in my opinion the FD already IS a bodykit without anything added.
I'm still a firm believer in the old 92 FD stock body, I think they are highly original( even still today) and have the most beautiful dstinctive lines of all FDs.

My problem with body kits is that you cannot really f*ck around with too many attatchments to an FD or you risk losing its classic look, or worst yet, you might end up looking like an MR2.
An FD made up to look like an exotic IMO is silly, considering it already looks like an exotic with stock lines and for that reason alone I refuse to bury my car in rice or pasta ( Italian style).

I think it looks good, insane, overdone, and makes the true car completely undistiguishable but still sexy.

As for telling what it is, when i see overdone fd's i usually tell what they are by the location/style of the door handles. very few cars have them in that location.
