matters what you want to do with it. If you want street racing gt35/40. Drag dbbt72. Thats your choices that i would go with and there is a single turbo section you should serch through.

I think Pan Speed has some nice kits. Check out http://jt-imports.com E-mail Jason at info@jt-imports.com if you have any questions concerning the turbos.

ya i looked at the gt35/40 but from my research the xs engineering turbo puts out the most hp if tuned right.

So you just care about total hp, and not how the power band is shaped? I take it then, that you are looking for a 1/4 mile turbo?

Just because a certain kit may be capable of a higher peak hp, does not mean it will make more hp everywhere in the power band. A T88 is capable of monster peak power, but would likely be a dog in street light to street light racing, and would get wasted by a Civic unless you resorted to all sorts of trickery.

i heard the gt 35/40 is nice but that supposedly there's no rebuild kit available yet for it so if you blow you turbo then what?

There is not BEST overall turbo...it is all preferrence.

I daily drove an XS T04s and loved it. It was great for the street.

ALSO HP is only good if you are doing drag at the track.....I mean you can run a HKS T51R and make 650 rwhp but you power band will suck.

Someone with a ported motor and a T04E or RX6 would be quicker than you on the street.

My suggestions are

XS T04S
HKS T04R cutback

It is a redesigned T04R...it is the same as the one in the FD kit from HKS. The kit just became available for the FD in 2002.

The older T04R was the one they offered for the Supra.
