Fastest Fd3 - Top end
Whats the fastest you guys have heard a fd3 going? Friend of mine was talking about the corvette "sledgehammer", since he is a vette fanatic, going 254 N/A. Was wondering what some of you have gotten the 7 up to.

Need to correct that info... the 254mph was running 22lbs of boost with the calloway body. The N/A only made 220 mph. Now... anyone actually know if 7's have gone over 220?

I own a FD and I love the car, but the Supra has so much more power potential.
I have a friend with a 1998 Quicksilver Supra (maybe 30 made in this color) that had a T04R turbo kit (smaller AR housing), front mount, full HKS Dragger exhaust, AEM ecu, injectors and twin fuel pumps that put 705 RWHP to the ground on a stock motor. He never even cracked open the valve cover to change cams. He drove it to and from the dyno (300 miles round trip in the salt and snow) and uses it for a weekend car that does low 10s in the quarter. The ironic thing about it all was that although he had to use 105 octane that he kept in a drum at his house, he got 30 mpg on the way to, from, and including his dyno runs that day. This car would easily do 200 mph. I know he had the thing hit the 180 mph mark and it was still pulling, HARD! He is a very good tuner and is renound for tuning GM's LT cars.
He sold that Supra, bought a Viper to twin turbo, and then bought another Quicksilver Supra to see if he could get 800 RWHP out of a stock motor. The Viper is due back from the shop any day and is expected to put down a little more than 1000 RWHP, not that it is remotely practical.
