Fan Mod
The fan mod can be done one of two ways:
1. There is a diagnostic wire currently going no where from the ecu, ground it.
2. Buy a fan control with variable temperature control and moount it in the car, splice into the fan control wires comming from the temperature sensor. Connect the on/off wire to a constant 12V source and the fan will stay on after the engine is shut off to continue to cool until the preset temperature.
I did mine the second way because I can really control the temp well. As a matter of fact, I actually had to turn the temp back up a little because it took forever for the car to warm up. (the temperature setting range is from 160 - 220 F)
Since you are in Atlanta, did you go to NOPI?? How about lunch the next time I make a run to Atlanta, I'd like to see your car, e-mail me: mchu14@home.com.
