Fan in front of M2 med IC ?

Would there be any problems using a fan to push instead of pull air through a M2 med IC? What size fan would fit inside of the M2 duct?
Thanks
Rick

i don't think that would be a problem..i think that Max Cooper used a 10" perma-cool fan on his ic..i believe that the duct pushes enough are through the ic and that you are better off mounting it to pull air through on the other side..i would think that the fan would block the ic and restrict flow if mounted in the duct..because by covering the ic with the fan isnt it like having less surface area on the ic..well at least thats what i think..

I was thinking it could be a little restrictive or at least cause some turturbulence at high speeds. I just do not know how much of a problem it would be. I think I would benefit from a fan at low speeds. This afternoon I had an air intake difference of 16 degrees between city and freeway driveng. At stop lights, the temperature would rise another 4 degrees or so.
I am hoping someone can tell me if there is a noticable temperature increase,at high speeds, with the fan infront of IC.
Thanks
Rick
