I need some help if you dont mind. The last time i posted i thought my 7 had carbon lock but it ended up just being flooded. So I took the plugs out and the top two where saturated with gas and the button two where just black from running rich. I got all new plugs and it started up I also pulled the fuel pump relay. But now the car bogs or falls on it face whenever you try to push it hard but if your easy on it it doesnt bog at all. All I did was change the plugs any idea what is happening? Also the car wouldnt run out of gas when i pulled the fuel pump relay it ran for 15 mins and never stalled out.
Any help would greatly be appreciated

mine did that... but i found out it was my fuel pump... i forgot to put the spacer on and it wasn't getting the pressure it was supposed to..... whoops

 

try resetting ecu, you might be in limp home mode

 

you might try resetting your ECU. Just unhook one terminal of the battery, step on the brake for about 20 seconds, then hook it back up.

ok man the fuel pump relay is only for the other side of the drop resister.its running on 8 volts when not in high boost.anyways back to the problem,like they said try to reset the ecu buy pulling the battery cable.if that don't help check your coils out put.

 

Do you get ANY boost at all? or just it just bog out when you boost, dont worry about how hard to press the gas, see if you boost, see if ANYTHING happens at any RPMs.. Also just sitting can you rev it just fine? Like in park....

Why are we stuck on it being a fuel problem? Did i miss a previous post?

 

Because he's running way too rich. The computer will not supply fuel unless it's seeing manifold pressure from the MAP sensor. 0 psi or 40 psi, the car is plain dumping too much fuel.

 

Hey just a heads up i disconnected the battery for 5 mins (i didnt step on the brake or gas pedal) and connected it back up and it ran fine. thanks for all the help

I am having a similar problem. The car runs fine but starts bogging down between 5-6000RPM The feul pump has been hard wired with a relay to receive a constant 12+ volts at all times. The feul pump has also been upgraded to a supra feul pump. These upgrades have improved the problem but it still has that sputtering @ high rpm. I am at my wits end and wish I had my car back. Any advice would be help. I changed the spark plugs the other day, this was done one at a time and each wire was replaced as it was removed. Upon completion I noticed that the wires were crossed. I corrected this and ran the car again, it seemed to run better but still not right.
