factory oil pressure gauge.

Is the factory oil pressure gauge known for going out or reading wrong? I know that it's a "dummy" gauge like that of the stock water temp. Just curious how many of you guys/gals have had problems with the stock oil pressure gauge.

You've got 2900 posts on this site and been a forum member since 2002! Where have you been? This subject is beat to death.

Sorry for the rant.

The factory coolant and oil pressure guages are at least inadequate.
Oil pressure guage connection is poor and intermittent with time. The engine is cooked by the time the coolant guage registers hot.
