Thumbs up Fabbing up a new 20B subframe -- plz help the effort with your OE measurements

Hello all,

I have a buddy who is working on a new affordable 20B subframe. If any of you happen to have your subframes out of the car, I would really appreciate it if you were able to take some measurements off of there.

I'm basically trying to find if there is any variance in between people's stock subframes (over the years of use, I'm guessing there is at least some). If I could have as many of you measure their subframes, it would really help him in getting a subframe that will fit the average chassis.

Thanks in advance all!

Sounds good! A n/a 20B may be the route I'm going, so could be useful

Is it possible to measure the frame in situ?

If so I can prob help

Ceylon.

Not too many people are going to just have subframes laying around. I hacked up my own subframe and modified it for my own 20b swap. Sorry I didn't take any measurements as I built my subframe while it was on the car. Most companys do it this way then make a jig to duplicated it later for resale.

I would guess you'll see more variance in people's measuring abilities.
