I thought I read somewhere that it was best to tap into the 02 sensor feed at the harness or ecu rather than at the downpipe/pre-cat.

Garfinkle taps the wire at the ecu , shorter, out of the heat, out of the vibration, out of dirt and oil . The senser is in the down pipe at the turbo end, remove your top air intake tube ect. ect . to get to it . the stock one has one black wire out of the top .

Boost and A/F...that's what I need to get done soon. What's the best way to run wires/hoses through the dash? I was just gonna go with APEX'i black face for the boost to keep the stock color scheme in the cockpit. Is having the Link for additional gauges really worth the extra money? Any estimation for how much time it'll take me and a buddy in a garage full of tools and a golden retriever (he's lucky)? I don't wanna try doing it during the week and end up driving around with **** hanging off my A-pillar.
Thanks

You can splice into the O2 sensor wire(black), the sensor is is right there buy the down pipe.

Just make sure you tap into the right wire on the ecu. I tapped the wrong one and could not figure out why my gauge was acting goofy. Also make a good ground connection.
