lowering springs/wheel hop question

Does wheel hop go away when you put lowering springs on the stock strut? What about lowering springs on something like Koni 5-way's?

Doesn't go away, but it helps reduce it some.

I don't wheel hop really at all anymore. Lower springs will help, and learning where in the RPM range to launch the car will do the rest.

I got the toe links and trailing arms. I get 0 wheel hop now. get the trailing arms/toe links and reduce your PSI to 20 and it is completely gone. even at 25 or 30 you get very little. I prefer the toelinks/arms on the street over the stock ones. It may be a tiny more noisy, but.....Again, every mod that does anything for your car makes more noise. Its not a mercedes.

David.

I'm a little worried, because the roads in Colorado have these HUGE grooves warn in them from traffic.. They already pull my car around within the lane. It can be very unsettling at times. I wouldn't want to emphasize that problem by removing the tolerances that may be taken up in the suspension by the rubber bushings...

Ouch! That's rough. That sounds like the last run I did brfore I broke my axle. I had Eibach's as well, and still had insane wheel hop.
In reference to your fears about the toe links being too harsh, A lot of people use these on the street. I will be one of them, and I live in Boston. We have the worst roads in the country. I've asked people your exact question, and was told that it's not bad running those on the street. The real harshness comes from solid A-arm bushings. Not a lot of people use those on everyday drivers.
