A/F of EGT
I would get an A/F gauge, but it will only give you a semi accurate reading at WOT, unless you decide to spend big bucks on an A/F gauge with a stand alone oxygen sensor. EGT is a good thing to have though.
none, only a wideband O2/lambda meter can give you accruate readings, if you dont believe me, go right ahead and tune away...
Just make sure to have about 2-6k in the bank for a new engine when you do. Also, please dont post anything like rotaries are unrelible or stuff like that!

The EGT gage is very slow to react and is not that good for tuning. If you are at a steady speed for a time then it may give a hint that you are richer or leaner then you should be. but first you must know how hot it should be.

my egt guage moves pretty quick although its not as accurate as a wide band o2 and can be effected by more than just the a/f ratio such as timing can also make it increase
