Yes, it shipped today at 4:30 pm local time. We had to get it out of the shop before the drooling caused start-up flooding.

No comment on the extra plugs.

The engine looks awesome man. And i hope someone will explain whats up with the four plugs per rotor. Still pretty damn cool for an engine. Great job.

Hmmm lets see! The person receiving this engine lives in CA. Maybe the extra plugs help with emissions after modifications? The two extra side plugs could easily be set-up for waisted spark. This would make spark timing the extra plugs easy since they would always fire at the same degree. Oh well that's my guess.

Rotary Race Cars often run 3 spark plugs. This can help a bit with power at high rpm. Sometime up to 2% or so. Usually this is not necessary in anything but a dedicated racecar.

I've never heard of four plugs.

Some race engines, like the 26B in the 787B LeMans car, run a third "late trailing" plug, but this is nothing like that. Not remotely what you think but somewhat practical in nature. Ryan can spill the beans if he wants, but I told Rob that I was not going to divulge what they are there for. Until someone guesses right, my official position is that we re-wired the engine for 220V power.
