i probed mine into the manifold , where the exhaust gases from the 2 turbos meet before they go into the down pipe

at highway cruise i get : 650 celsius
hard pulls ... 3rd 4th 5th ... never seen above 900 C

track .. max i ever saw was 850 ( max 3rd gear max RPM )

stock ports
stock intercooler
open intake
3" HKS D/P , Race Midpipe ( no cat ) / stock muffler
stock ECU
stock Fuel / ignition

.. take this picture for example

look at the "rectangular" down pipe "exit" from the turbos ,
now the lower 2 studs .... which in reality are the 2 top studs once the turbos are installed ,

in between these 2 studs .. before the flange .. i drilled it and tappet it there

From what i understand, EGTs have to be taken pre-turbo to be really useful. They survive better than wideband meters and it's usually the rear rotor that runs lean and blows. Check out
this thread for more information.

yes ideally you tapp to probes into each exhaust "passage" pre turbo but .. i figured i am not running an aircraft here .. nor am i running 800 whp so ... it`s ok for now
