Unhappy Exhaust Question

I was going into a parking lot today, and didn't think the car would hit bottom, and then I heard it hit near the middle-back. I checked underneath and it looks like part of the stock cat piping got chunked off around the flange that meets with the muffler piping. I put my hand beneath the gasket while the car was idling and felt a small bit a exhaust getting pushed out. Do I need to worry about this or will it be ok till I get an ECU and hi-flow cat? And is there any way this could have affected the downpipe on both ends?

Errrr didn't mean too

So I need to get it fixed Riks? You think it could have hurt anything up near the engine (i.e. where the dp connects up to the engine)?

Aight

Yeah man just saw em. They look money. Except for that damn dent errrrrrrrr. It seems like everytime I get everything just right something happens. Anyway to check and see if the connection between the dp and engine is messed?

Anyway?

Anyway to really see if anything is messed where the dp and engine meet? I tried lookin through all the hoses and lines, and didn't see anything.

It doesn't sound any different. Probably was goin about 5 MPH or so, maybe a little more, but not much. The parking lot is higher than the road so it was one of those slope up cement things, ya know? The slope was going with the car so it wasn't like I hit somethin and it slowed me down. I just looked at the bolts on the dp. Only 2 were visible cause the hoses were in the way, but the top one didn't look budged, had thread sticked out of the bolt and the bottom one had the threads end at the top of the bolt ( I dunno if the threads are short on that one or what.

Slopes up like Chris' driveway, but a little more slope

Would I notice a boost problem if it was leakin at the engine?
