Exhaust, Intake, and Downpipe
Do I need an ecu upgrade for these three mods. I know that there is lots of debate about the three mods and you need an ecu. So I was just wondering if anyone has these three mods without an ecu, and if so would I be safe. I have the Apexi GT-Spec exhaust, the M2 downpipe and the M2 carbon fiber intake. Thanks for the advice.

I'm sure if you've searched and read this topic a lot the concensus is you can run those mods as long as it's stock boost. maybe 11psi, but 12psi and up you will lean out.
Lots of people run those mods w/o a boost controller. But if you do get say a midpipe, you should consider an ECU.

If your car is running 100%, you should easily be hitting fuel-cut in 3rd-5th gear with those mods. You need to restrict your boost to 10 psi. A less expensive ecu would be to get the M2 stage 2 or Pettit ecu.

Your car will be completely fine for those mods without upgrading the ECU. Make sure you don't run more than 10psi. If you plan on getting another mod, than you should consider upgrading your ECU.
