Exhaust heat sensor on JDM fd

Yes, i tryed to search

Does enyone know what exactly that sensor do? Mine broke when i was taking my cat of, and ím not goingto put it back. ( sensor or cat )
Do i need some sort of resistor to wires or will the car work normally with out it?
Apparently this sensor is only on JDM cars but if enyone can help i would aprissiate it

Must have been some removal process!! Location, below your driver's seat.



It's only function is to tell of a cat overheat, looks like a limp mode is triggered on a standard ECU with it not in place.

Thank you, i looked at that thread you posted billyboy. There was the answer,
just bridge the connectors and thats it. No resistors needed.
