inquiring minds want to know
i bolted my turbo manifold to the block today using the Remflex gasket. my takeaway from the conversation w Remflex was don't be too concerned w the torque reading... ideally you want the gasket to compress 50%.
i torqued the manifold to 25 ft pounds... then removed it and measured the gasket... it was .094. based on that i am torquing the gasket to 30 ft pounds.

I’m not sure if you didn’t get that I was referring to the Remflex version of the Cosmos gasket, which I had linked. So you get three of them for $31 from Summit Racing and then have either a spare or the next time you buy another set of three then have a additional pair to use later.
As opposed to buying the single 1-piece 13B gasket. It seems like you’d come out ahead buying the multi-piece gaskets.
