The HKS C/F Ti exhaust is a great exhaust, many people have it and many people love it. One main flaw it has is that the hanger on the can isn't welded on to strong, and can break. A good exhaust shop can weld that on stronger for you and your good to go.

As 7_rocket said, you can find that exhuast much cheaper at other places. Where in california are you located? There are some reputable shops in Cali and you might be close enough to one that you could pick it up instead of shipping it.

kyledavid, since your in san jose, you could go to rotary extreme in fremont for that exhaust. Its cheaper than shipping it and chuck discounts the price a little bit to local forum members too.

I'm running the Border Burnout Type II exhaust. Its basically a race-only exhaust. God damn it sounds mean, very very low. Sets off car alarms in the next state. Chuck at RotaryExtreme.com can get it for you, but its about $1600 with the MP.

Straight Pipe for CB?

Are there people running straight 3" after the cat?

When I used to do extensive testing on my first FD, back in 1994, I could not find any exhaust that would equal the performance of a straight pipe. My testing included acceleration tests from 60 - 160 MPH. Not even some of the real expensive ones.

I just had one put on for my present FD (a straight pipe). It sound OK at idle, a bit unruly but, heck, so is the car with all the power mods. With the DP and stock cat it sounds just mean enough that even the women in the car like its growl. Sounds like a mean animal... which is exactly the point...

...and its cheap and light weight!!!
