evo r headlight question.

does anyone know what housing evo-r uses for their headlight kit? the link below shows it. http://evo-r.net/product/RX-7/OEM_HID/index.htm . is it just a something like this on ebay? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/79-82...Q5fAccessories . i just want some new housings cause mine are pretty old looking.

Probably some plastic POS built by smashing a milk jug between two rocks EVO-R stuff blows. There's a few threads on how bad their stuff is.

i have seen the threads on their stuff being bad im just wondering if those housings on ebay would fit, and then ill put my own hids in.

the only aftermarket headlights made for a fd are made by spyder auto or also know as sonar they are about 150 for a set. Those ebay ones will not fit. i can make you some hid headlights from your stock housing but it will run you about 500.

Fitment was the major issue. That and the poor quality. Actually I think it was fitment of the KS type headlights if I remember right, I dunno about those.

The 2nd round of the Sakebomb HID headlights should be starting soon, worth a look if you're interested in the popups.
