BURNED BY fd3s777 for over $400
I bought a Knightsports knock-off headlight kit from EVO-R on eBay. He's a member of this forum and goes by the S/N fd3s777

The kit came nowhere near fitting into my FD3S. I tried like hell to get them to fit, but no dice. Even my friend who works professionally at a body shop couldn't make them work. My emails, PMs, & messages through ebay were all ignored, and when I finally made a claim with Paypal, it was denied because I Dremmeled the CD case-quality plastic brackets in an attempt to make the kit fit. To be clear about this, I Dremmeled them after attempting to contact the seller with no reply.
I'm out 430 dollars and my Labor Day weekend which I spent trying to get this pile of crap to fit into my completely stock-bodied RX-7. fd3s777 is trying to claim that we installed them upside-down or reversed...that's seriously the biggest crock! I've been working on cars all my life, my friend who helped me does this kind of thing for a living, and there is no way in Hell that those lights will ever fit into the headlight buckets of an FD3S.
Don't let the guy fool you, this kit came from China, not New York, and I'm not the 1st one in this club to have problems with EVO-R.
Steer clear if you value your hard-earned money. I took a chance, and got bent over, so I'm hoping the next sucker will read this before sending the guy a red cent. Maybe I can save someone the headache and hassle I've been though in the last month.
Friendly warning.

I've seen your thread about these lights. It sucks that people continue to purchase their products. I was never too happy with the original EVO-R Kit they sold and I tried to make mention of that throughout this forum. Seems this new kit doesn't even fit at all. You should link a "buyer beware" regarding this company. If they're willing to do this to you I'm sure they're capable of doing this to others.

Natey: Just wanted to say I do appreciate you posting this thread up! Looks like you've already helped out a couple of members by doing so. Wish others would be quick to do the same. Maybe it'll force FD3s777 to change his/their practices or at least make a better quality product in the future.

Guys, I'm in negotiations with Jay/fd3s777 in order to try to get an amicable solution to this that'll help put Natey in a better mood. So far it looks like Jay is willing to play ball
