Thumbs up Ever heard of Top Fuel Racing....J-land craziness

A fellow forum member is out in Japan touring all of the rotary speed shops, and he visited one shop I'd never heard of....a one man show run by a Mr. Kumaki. The shop is in the middle of nowhere, almost like an FD scrapyard. The guy has an REW drag setup that makes 850 ps at 11,500 rpms, mid 9 second passes. the portwork is what got my attention...auxiliary J-port

Yeah i went there yesterday, it is pretty nuts. His specialty is also a 3 piece eccentric shaft for the 13B-REW that allows him to run anywhere from 800-1000 hp consistently. He ran for 4 drag race seasons, each season being 12 races, at around 850-900 hp on his 13B-REW with it. Full "street" car with interior. It is a very $$$ piece though.

The pics are mine.

Do you understand that Top Fuel is the company that makes that crazy rear trunk spoiler everyone on this forum has been DYING to find for years now?

Please go back and see if he has any left, you could make a KILLING off that thing, especially if you got it into the hands of ShineAutoProject to replicate

EDIT PICS:

That rear spoiler is the UNICORN of all parts on this forum, it's part of that original Top Fuel car's body kit to make it look like a Viper GTS.

Seriously, if you find one, please either sell it to me Or send it to ShineAutoProject so we can all enjoy it.

I remembered i told myself i would look into it when i went to top fuel but it completely slipped my mind when i was there. I will try to reach him within the next 1-2 days and see if something is possible. His shop is in the middle of nowhere in country side japan, and a 2 hr train trip from my hotel. But, i will try.

I love TopFuel. they've been around since at least early 90's. They have a lot of crazy cars, but most nice bolt-on turbo kits were catered to Nissans and Hondas.
Had a 300zx funny car that was brought over to Cali to showoff at Battle of Imports in late '90s

here's one of topfuel's RSX.

Top Fuel is not Top Fuel Racing. Top Fuel Racing does only rotaries.

Top Fuel is a honda and other car tuning shop.

Bad news, i talked to him, he said that the kit was made a while ago, and he stopped pretty much making it. I asked him if he can make one more, he said that he has no intention of making it again. I am going to try to convince him that there is enough demand abroad that he could make a good profit.

By the map I live about 20min away from there, The 2nd picture of the red FD is the CAM engineering time attack car. CAM tuned my car and on the dyno sheets say TOP Fuel racing so must use there dyno or was tuned by them. Also has CAM listed in the links, wonder what the connection is. Ill have to check that place out one day.
