Evans NPG+ and Greddy Underdrive Pulley

Is there any problem with running Evans NPG+ coolant and having Greddy Underdrive Pulley?
Should I not install Underdrive Pulley if I am going to run Evans?

Hmm, well I don't know yet, but I'm going to find out because I have the Greddy set and the Unorthodox main pulley. I'll report back my findings.

the glass man, are you putting in Evans?
I searched before I posted this thread, I read that there are some concern about Evans not flowing enough and having to put holes in the t-stat. So I believe the Greddy will slow down the flow for lower RPM. Thus the cooling is not as good.
Anybody here runs Evans and Pulley set ? Any problems?

I have the Greddy and Pettit pulleys with the Evans.
No problems here. But I'm in Canada. We only get a month of hot weather here.

I have not drilled the t-stat either... maybe I should.

Someone should contact Rob from Pineapple racing to see what he thinks.

Running Evans defeats the purpose of having an underdrive pulley on the waterpump in the first place, that is, Evans won't cavitate at high rpms. Not sure how much it'll hurt cooling, but it will hurt compared to the stock pulley. With regular coolant an underdrive pulley can be better at high rpms because it will cavitate to some degree, but the high boiling point of Evans eliminates this, so best performance is with the stock pulley. FWIW, cavitation is caused by low pressures zones around the pump blades causing the coolant to boil.

I got my pully to get rid of the air pump and free up some horsepower from the engine. As well as help underdrive the waterpump.

same here...my plan is to get rid of the air pump, I have ordered PWR and Underdrive pulley. And I am thinking of getting Evans when I put in the new radiator.
My purpose is to auto-x with the car. Should I put in the pulley or just change the belt. Can I use the Greddy Belt with the stock pulley?
