engine wiring harness....

any compatability issues between FD model years or is it all the same....stupid question, yes (i think)...but if you guys had any idea how much my luck BLOWS you wouldn't blame me for asking....thanks...

Yes, the harness is different in the latter years of the RX-7 from the earlier years.

On US 93-95 engine harnesses, they're basically the same. The only biggie is the removal of EGR in the '95s - I don't believe '95 harnesses have the connectors for EGR, which is no big deal if you aren't worried about EGR.

Also, automatic and manual harnesses are different. They can be modified to work - that's covered in the auto-manual swap threads.

'96+ JDM harnesses are VERY different. JDM harnesses in general are different, since the ECU is on the opposite side of the car and they didn't have some US emissions "features" (EGR, AWS, etc.).

ok crap, glad i asked and I should have been more specific then....I need a new harness because I'm switching from Haltech E6K to PFC...I guess my harness is hacked up from the installation of the Haltech...I'm looking at a few used ones for sale....will a 95 work for my 93??? Thanks

Yes. The '93 harness IIRC was superseded by the new harness with the cooling fan recall wiring already in it (so you can't get a '93' harness anymore its just the newer version being sold).
