Johnny: thanks for the input on the suspension parts...it helps to hear from more people. I'll add you to the list.

Thanks

I'm keeping track of everyone that chimes in

I don't have any pics as of yet because were doing something different on the bracket that should make it a little cleaner while still staying strong. I hope to have some up very soon. Everything that we will be making will be out of chrome-moly......suspension parts, body bracing,etc.... It's easier to weld with and stronger....so it's the best of both.

Car is much more stable with the M2 toe links. Its a solid piece with heim joints and no rubber bushings so it has no play. The rear feels much more planted, especially whehn giving power comming out of turns. With worn stock toe links my car would be unstable at high speeds, and felt like the rear wanted to wander left to right ever so slightly. Not fun at all. As for the torque brace, turbovr6 made something for his car. I had a chance to see it the other week. If I recall correctly, it went from the side of the passenger shock tower to there the airpump wold bolt up. It has rubber bushings so vibration was not increased. I have to talk to him about making one for myself.

I haven't gotten the pics up yet of the engine brace but look at my thread on "some pics of my new parts" to see the downpipe and midpipe we just got finished and are selling. It will give you an idea of the quality that we have......whether or not that's good to everyone will depend on what you think of the pics

The GB is on for the other one it seems.....hope that they get 30+ people so that they are a decent price. For those that don't go with those......I don't think you'll be sorry at all

Silver,
I'm definitely interested. I am assuming that your choice of materials (chrome-moly) is road-proven. Please PM me the details for paypal. I am interested in the engine torque brace as well as the rear toe links and possible your other offerings!

On the chrome-moly being road proven.....you mean has my brace been tested on a car? Yes.....no problems at all to date. I've also built them for other cars with no problems....my Mustang....my AE86 Corolla....and some of my friends cars that love them because they dropped there 60' times at the track. No engine bind up and you can load the motor however you want.

I'm still working out all the details......sorry it's taking so long to get pics.....I've just had quite a few different things going on. Once the brackets are done (which i layed out for the laser already)....the braces will be ready in no less than a week. They are very easy to make once all the pieces are in order.

Thanks

Actually that website has the one that everyone is running. I don't think that it's flimsy......it would be pretty strong from the look of it.

That's almost the design that I'm going with for my bracket. It's visually appealing......more so than just a solid bracket like some that I've seen.

The one that I'm doing right now has the straight bar with rod-ends but that's the only likeness. I designed a nicer bracket than what I've seen so it should look quite a bit better. I've already ordered the dampers from my friend who really hooked me up so it's just a matter of time before those are ready. I have to modify them to work which will take a little longer but they will look very cool when finished. I'm hoping to keep the price pretty low on those as well being that i'm doing all the work myself.

I couldn't understand everything on the page, but he was basically just explaining how he installed it(firewall first, then the enging mount, then attached the damper body, then adjusted the dampening with the nut...). Torque bars are pretty common in Japan. The ones like this one are only about $140-150. If you look through a Japanese magazine such as RevSpeed, Option, or AP you will see them all over the place.
