Engine swap and restart instructions

I have traded a running engine for my old one with bad seals. I am now in the process of re-installing everything.
My question/help is this; what precautions or proceedures must I do before starting it again. I would prefer the information in order if you can.
Thank you all, your help is greatly appreciated.

And by "prime" you mean turn the power on but do not start?

You'll need to jumper the fuel pump in the diagnostic box to prime the fuel system. For the oil, pull the EGI relay and crank for the car for a minute or so. That should prime the oil system.

Replace teh EGI relay and start it up. Make sure your battery is completely charged before trying to start the car. If you have a charger, I would charge it the night before you plan to try to start it.

Thank you Dr4000n. You gave me something to think about and consider. Does anyone know of other options on 'cleaning' a used engine before install?
