So how is it ALL 92-95 efini rx-7's had NO pre-cat and a cast y-pipe, yet only 230HP?

Come on, this is rediculous. The turbos DO make some of the difference, the boost does the rest.

Am going to perform the engine swap, ECU upgrade and change to 99 spec turbos, will keep u guys updated

Well actually that just proves that there are differences other than the turbos because in 93-95 the US and Jspec versions all had the same turbo. If they were making less power than us it would either be in the tuning or because they ran lower boost. The level of boost it runs has nothing to do with the turbos. Maybe they were only running 7psi. You pull that 3psi out but then add back in the more free flowing exhaust and you'd prob be right there at 230.
