Engine stand mounting bolts

i know i need some M 12 x 1.5 bolts but i don't know what length i need, i was planning on getting them off the advertisers website here:

Whats your setup like? Engine mounts, oil pan brace? I stock them.

I guess it would all depend on how your stand is setup. Mine has four arms that can be used, but you can only bolt it up to 3 mounting points on our block. If you look at the pineapple racing engine mount you can see what holes they choose, but my stand worked perfectly fine with the mount that it came with. I just needed the bolts which I got from a local metric retailer, and they were 90mm. But all you have to measure the thickness of the mount that the bolt will pass through and allow the bolt to screw all the way in, if its too big just add washers.

Now that I looked at it the pineapple does it differently, all the mounting points are on the front iron...


Looking at your stand it looks very similar to mine, and youll never get to that top hole that the pineapple uses, so the third one I used was in the center iron right near where the pan bolts up. So the one that is circled in the picture, the bolt directly above it, and the lower hole on the center iron are all m12x1.5 (I believe/the biggest holes on the block). You just have to manipulate the arms to reach and it will block a couple of things you can mount on the stand, but you can easily install them when the engine is on the cherry picker.
