Engine question...
Ok here goes. Can i personally order a mazda remaned engine from anyone? or do I have to go through a shop to gete this done? if I can get it ordered and shipped to me personally, does anyone happen to have names or numbers of who I should call? I've heard the name Mallory Mazda passed around here and there, but I know nothing else of them. Can anyone give me any hints, suggestions, names, nunbers, anything??
Thanks,

Ok, do you have an engine now that is bad/damaged or do you just need another engine?
It would be better, if you already have an engine, to just have it rebuilt. Having it rebuilt you can have better seals added, or some porting done... Basically anything...
There are several places on the east coast that I believe will do rebuilds:
http://www.kdrotary.com/
http://www.pettitracing.com
http://www.pfsupercars.com

Hey Ricter,
Best thing to do is get a reman from Ray at Malloy and have Dave at KD Rotary do the internals. His service is great and that will pay off in the long run..concerning price of parts and warranty issues. He will work with you more than anyone else when something goes wrong. Oh did I mention he is great on prices. I live in Atlanta and he is in Woodbridge, Va and I buy everything from him even my oil filters, sparkplugs, and all my gaskets that I needed to put my new engine in.
He has been getting new rotors and hosings on most of his remans and if he doesn't do a little talking and he might be able to get one with the new housings. He will work with you.
Later,
Scott

Hey all,
I found this thread when searching through the archives. I am now in the same situation and would like to contact Mallory Mazda for a price quote on a factory rebuild for my 3 gen.
Does anyone have the conact info?
