engine just installed.. weird angle

i just dropped my engine back into the FD the other day and it seems to be sitting at a really weird angle. the bottom of the front of it is not touching the top of the piece it should be resting on. any ideas?
tranny is fully mounted, minus the drive shaft.

You have the PPF hooked up? With the PPF unhooked the weight of the tranny will pull down on the rear of the engine causing the front to rise. If the PPF is hooked up then I dont know what to tell you without being able to see the car.

Also, IIRC, the PPF bolt-holes are slotted for adjustment, and the PPF may need to be repositioned.

The "bottom" front of the engine is NOT supposed to be "touching" anything.

yeah, the only thing that should touch is the motor mounts in the sub-frame pockets. Post pics, maybe you just did a bad job describing it.
