Engine half torn apart - which maintenance items to replace?

94 R2, 56k. Engine rebuilt at 49k and very strong, all stock engine. Rats nest is already done. The car has no problems (Knock, knock) right now, except a low transition (10-6-10).

I'm installing a few things at once: Miata thermosensor, water temp gauge, new radiator hoses, new ground wires. I've removed the airbox/hoses, airpump, crossover pipe, intake elbow, thermostat housing. The alternator and UIM will probably also come out.

Would it be wise to replace:
- other coolant hoses (around turbos?)
- water pump
- thermostat
- other maintenance items?

Thanks

I would go ahead and replace all the coolant lines, have your injectors cleaned and flow balanced by RC Engineering , repaint or have your parts polished...

Might not be a bad idea to go ahead and replace the thermostat while you are at it.

Because of my lack of cash and disinterest in blinging my bay, I'm sticking to probably hose and thermostat replacement. I'm just cleaning removing brackets and cleaning off things as I go.

I think the injector maintenance can wait - besides, I haven't depressurized the fuel system and I'm not in a hurry to do so.

So I'm off to the parts list diagrams to try and make a list of required hoses - any pointers there would be appreciated.
