Engine electrical question - ECU harness (where does this plug go??)
I recently installed my rebuilt engine with a new wiring harness. Today I was working on installing my PFC and hooking up the new harness. Apparently the previous owner badly hacked the entire harness to route just about every ground around the ECU and into one common ground. I'm guissing to mask bad or non working sensors...
To my current problem. I can't find where the black plug in the attached picture goes. There are no other connectors in the footwell, and nothing that looks anything like this. I'm assuming its a ground, but I'd like to know where the chassis side is supposed to be.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't think that plug needs to be plugged in or has a place to plug but if it's the one I'm thinking of you can attach a spade to it and ground it and the fans come on so some folks use it as a fan switch.
